Changing your business/company address in Thailand when you move your office to a new location is not as easy as other countries due to how DBD and the Revenue Department is organized in Thailand. The process, duration and cost differs when you move your business address within the same Province or to a different Province and is slightly higher if your company is VAT registered.

Business Owner

  • Copy of the Director’s ID card (if Thai nationality) or Passport ( If foreigner)

    — 3 copies

  • Copy of House registration of director(s)

    — 2 copies.

  • Original of PP.01, PP09

    — 2 copies.

  • Original Tax.ID card

    — 2 copies.

  • Original VAT certificate (PP.20)

    — 2 copies (if applicable)

Information about the New Office Address

  • Copy of Household Certificate or “Tabien Baan” of Office Building

    — 1 copy certified by the building owner

  • Copy of the Letter of Consent issued by the owner of Office Building to the Company

    — 1 original set

  • Copy of any kind of proof of ownership of Office Building, such as construction permit, house sale agreement, house number application, etc. showing the name of the owner

    — 1 copy certified by the authorized director of the company which owns Office Building

  • Copy of documents regarding the company which owns Office Building, i.e., copy of Company Affidavit and copy of Thai I.D. Card and Household Certificate of the director(s) signing documents in other items

    — 1 copy certified by such director(s)

  • Map showing the location of Office Building

    — 3 copies

  • Photograph of office with present the No.of Office Building. and Company's sign-board

Under the Thai Law, when a company moves from one Province to another, the company must place a small advertisement in the newspaper and circulate the information to all shareholders.
