Thailand Statutory Filing Service

For companies with their own accounting team overseas

Your group finance team or overseas accountant handles the books — but Thai law requires all government filings to be submitted by a licensed Thai professional. Your overseas team cannot legally file PND1, PP30, SSO contributions, or the annual PND50 corporate income tax return directly, regardless of how capable they are.

Our filing service bridges that gap. You send us the numbers; we handle the submissions to the Revenue Department, Social Security Office, and DBD — on time, with filing receipts provided after each submission. One flat annual fee, no bookkeeping required.

Thai Law Requires a Licensed Local Filer

Revenue Department, SSO, and DBD submissions must be made through Thai government portals using accounts registered to a licensed Thai professional. An overseas accounting firm — however qualified — cannot access these systems or submit on your behalf. This service provides the licensed filing agent your company is legally required to use.

Keep your own accounting team

Keep Your Existing Accounting Team

You don't need to switch accountants or move your bookkeeping to Thailand. Your group finance team, regional controller, or overseas accounting firm continues handling the accounts and producing the tax computations. We take those figures and submit them into the Thai government systems — nothing more, nothing less.

Flat annual fee tax filing Thailand

One Flat Fee, No Surprises

At THB 65,000 per year, the service covers all applicable monthly and annual filings for your company. There is no per-form charge and no variable fee based on transaction volume. The only additional costs are government penalties if data is submitted to us after the statutory deadline — which we work to prevent with advance reminders.

What This Service Covers — and What It Doesn't

This is a filing service, not an accounting service. We submit the forms to the government agencies on your behalf using the figures your accounting team provides. We do not prepare bookkeeping records, calculate corporate income tax, produce management accounts, or advise on tax positions.

What that means in practice: your accounting team sends us the monthly withholding tax totals, VAT figures, and SSO contribution amounts, and we file them by the deadline. For the annual PND50, your team provides the tax computation and we submit it. We send you a filing receipt or screenshot confirming each submission.

If your accounting team ever needs support with specific Thai tax questions or the numbers behind a particular filing, our accounting and tax advisory team is available separately and can be looped in as needed.

Everything covered for

THB 65,000 per year

The fee covers all filings listed below that are applicable to your company. Not every filing applies to every business — we confirm the relevant scope during onboarding.

Monthly Filings

Submitted each month to the Revenue Department and Social Security Office. Deadlines vary by form — we track them all.

Withholding Tax on Payments Made
  • PND1 — Withholding tax on employee salaries. Due by the 7th (or 15th online) of the following month.
  • PND3 — Withholding tax on payments to Thai individuals (freelancers, contractors, service providers). Same deadline as PND1.
  • PND53 — Withholding tax on payments to Thai juristic persons (companies). Same deadline.
  • PND54 — Withholding tax on payments to foreign companies with no permanent establishment in Thailand (e.g., overseas software licences, consulting fees paid abroad).
Value-Added Tax
  • PP30 — Monthly VAT return for all VAT-registered companies. Must be filed even in months where output and input VAT are both nil.
  • PP36 — Self-assessed VAT on imported services. Required when your company pays for services from a foreign provider used in Thailand (e.g., Google Ads, Zoom subscriptions, AWS).
Specific Business Tax (if applicable)
  • PT40 — Specific Business Tax return for companies in SBT-covered sectors such as certain financial activities or real estate transactions excluded from VAT.
Social Security
  • SSO monthly contribution filing — Monthly employer and employee SSO contributions for all enrolled employees. Due by the 15th of the following month.

Important: This service covers filing only. We submit the figures your accounting team provides — we do not prepare bookkeeping records, calculate tax, or validate the underlying numbers. Revenue Department, SSO, and DBD officers may request supporting documents for specific filings; we will notify you if this occurs and advise on what is needed.

How It Works

Onboarding tax filing Thailand

Step 1: Onboarding Call

When you sign up, our compliance specialist holds a short call with you to understand your business — its activities, VAT registration status, number of employees, related-party transactions, and fiscal year-end. From this we produce a personalised filing calendar: a complete list of every form your company is required to submit, with deadlines and a description of what data we need from your team for each one.

This is the document your accounting team will work from going forward. It removes any ambiguity about what needs to be filed, when, and what information is required.

Monthly data submission tax filing

Step 2: Monthly Data Submission

Each month, we send your accounting team a reminder ahead of each deadline with a clear list of what we need. Your team sends us the relevant figures — withholding tax amounts, VAT totals, SSO headcount, and so on. We do not need access to your accounting software or raw transaction data; just the filing-ready figures.

We file the forms by the deadline and send you a confirmation receipt or screenshot from the government portal for your records. If a government agency raises a query about a specific filing, we notify you immediately and advise on what supporting documents are required.

Note: We file on the data received. If your team sends figures after the statutory deadline, the filing will be late and government penalties will apply. We are not responsible for penalties arising from late data submission.

Why Businesses Choose UnionSPACE

The Team Behind Your Filings

UnionSPACE Google rating

We've been submitting statutory filings for companies in Thailand since 2016.

Our compliance team processes filings across the Revenue Department, SSO, and DBD every month for hundreds of companies — ranging from small two-person operations to regional subsidiaries of listed multinationals. We know the quirks of each government portal, what each agency's officers look for, and how to handle queries when they arise.

For companies with overseas accounting teams, the typical failure mode is not the accounting — it's the disconnect between the overseas team's deadlines and Thailand's statutory calendar. Our reminders, checklists, and filing confirmations are designed to close that gap and give both your local management and overseas finance team a clear, documented compliance trail.

The way they explain my responsibilities during the on-boarding process makes work alot easier and smoother for both parties. Initially I felt it was an overkill but later realize it was indeed beneficial and necessary for all parties.

Like it or not, accounting is a pain and unionspace made it bearable and do-able even here in Thailand. Thank you

As Thailand tighten their grip with tax collection, having a professional accounting company is important. Unionspace made that right.

Common Questions About the Filing Service

Specifically about the Tax Filing Only plan — for companies with their own accounting team overseas.

Why can't my overseas accountant file Thai taxes directly?

Thai law requires statutory filings with the Revenue Department, SSO, and DBD to be submitted by a licensed Thai professional through Thai government portals. These portals require registration under a Thai-licensed account — an overseas accounting firm cannot access them regardless of their qualifications or experience. This is not a technical workaround; it is a legal requirement. Any company operating in Thailand needs a licensed local filing agent, which is exactly what this service provides.

What exactly is included in the THB 65,000 annual fee?

The flat fee covers all applicable monthly filings (PND1, PND3, PND53, PND54, PP30, PP36, SSO) and all applicable annual filings (PND51, PND50, PND1 Kor, DBD financial statement and shareholders' list submission) for one company. Not every filing applies to every company — a non-VAT-registered company doesn't file PP30, for example. During onboarding we identify exactly which forms your company is required to submit and the fee covers that specific scope. Government fees, penalties for late filings caused by late data submission, and additional services (tax advisory, auditor liaison) are not included.

What does my accounting team need to provide each month?

After onboarding, we provide a structured monthly data template specific to your company's filing obligations. Typically this covers: total salary and tax withheld per employee (for PND1), total payments to Thai individuals and companies with applicable withholding rates (PND3/53), total output and input VAT for the month (PP30), and SSO contribution confirmation. We don't need raw transaction data or accounting system access — just the filing-ready figures. For the annual corporate income tax return (PND50) your team provides the tax computation; we prepare and submit the form.

What happens if we send the data to you after the deadline?

We file on the data we receive — we cannot file before we have it. If data arrives after the statutory deadline, the filing will be late and government penalties will apply automatically. Revenue Department surcharges are 1.5% per month on underpaid tax plus THB 100–500 per late form. SSO late contributions attract a 2% per month surcharge. These penalties are not within our control and are not covered by the service fee. To help prevent this, we send deadline reminders in advance of each cut-off date and keep the data requirements as simple as possible.

Does this service include preparing the corporate income tax computation?

No. The service covers submitting the PND50 and PND51 forms to the Revenue Department — it does not include preparing the corporate income tax computation. Your overseas accounting team produces the computation and provides us with the final figures. If your team needs support with the Thai tax computation specifically, this is available as a separate advisory service — contact us and we can arrange an appropriate engagement.

Is the DBD financial statement submission included?

Yes — submission of audited financial statements to the DBD and the post-AGM shareholders' list (Bor Or Jor 5) are both included. The financial statements must be audited by a Thai-licensed auditor and approved at the AGM before we can submit them. The service does not include organising the AGM, preparing AGM documentation, or liaising with your auditor — those are handled separately through our corporate secretarial service if needed.

Which types of companies is this service right for?

This service works well for companies that have a competent accounting team outside Thailand — a regional finance function, group controller, or overseas accounting firm — who handles the bookkeeping and tax computations but cannot legally submit Thai government filings themselves. It also works for companies with a Thai accountant who handles the accounts but prefers to outsource the government portal submissions to a dedicated compliance team. It is not suitable for companies that need bookkeeping, accounting records, or tax advice included — for those, our full accounting and tax service is more appropriate.
